EMR Software

EMR Software for Indian Clinics — records, prescriptions, billing, all in one place

A modern Electronic Medical Records system built for how Indian clinics actually work — between patients, often without stable internet, and where the front desk runs queue and billing while the doctor writes prescriptions.

What an EMR should look like for an Indian clinic

A traditional EMR was built for hospitals: dozens of fields, hundreds of pages, weeks of training. That is not how a busy outpatient clinic works. Patients walk in, get registered, see the doctor for 4–8 minutes, get a prescription, pay, and leave. The EMR has to keep up with that pace — not slow it down.

MedKyo treats the patient record as the spine of the visit. Every consultation auto-stitches together: vitals captured at check-in, the symptoms and diagnoses entered during consultation, the medicines prescribed, lab tests ordered, advice given, and the invoice generated at billing. Open the patient record next visit and the full history is there in seconds — no hunting through folders.

Every record is encrypted with AES-256 and stored on servers in India under DPDP Act 2023 compliance. Role-based access means receptionists can register and bill, but only doctors see clinical data. And it all keeps working when the internet does not — MedKyo is offline-first, syncing automatically when you are back online.

Everything an Indian clinic EMR needs

No 50-page manual. No week-long training. Just the records, prescriptions, billing, and reports your clinic runs on every day.

Complete patient records

Demographics, contact, vitals, allergies, past visits, medicines, lab results, and uploaded documents (X-rays, reports). One profile per patient — searchable by name or phone.

Visit history at a glance

Every consultation auto-saves with vitals, symptoms, diagnoses, prescriptions, and notes. Reopen any past visit to copy forward into a follow-up — no retyping.

Patient documents (X-rays, reports)

Upload images and PDFs (lab reports, X-rays, scans) directly to the patient record. Stored encrypted, accessible across devices, not lost in WhatsApp threads.

Prescriptions & billing in the same record

Write the prescription, generate the GST invoice, collect payment — all linked to the same visit. No double-entry, no separate billing software needed.

Offline-first

Internet down? Keep working. Register patients, write prescriptions, generate invoices — everything syncs automatically when connectivity is back.

DPDP Act + AES-256 encryption

Patient data encrypted at rest with AES-256, stored on servers in India, with audit logs. Role-based access keeps clinical data restricted to doctors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is MedKyo a true EMR or just a prescription tool?

MedKyo is a full Electronic Medical Records system. Every patient has a complete record — demographics, vitals, allergies, past visits, prescriptions, lab results, uploaded documents (X-rays, reports), and billing history. The prescription pad is one part of it; visit history, document storage, and per-visit clinical data are the others.

How is patient data secured?

All patient data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest, stored on servers located in India, with TLS encryption in transit. Access is role-based — receptionists cannot see clinical data, only doctors can. We are compliant with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and we maintain audit logs of who accessed which record and when.

Can I use MedKyo if my clinic loses internet?

Yes. MedKyo is offline-first. You can register patients, write prescriptions, generate invoices, and collect payments without internet. Everything syncs automatically when you are back online — no data loss, no duplicate entries.

Can multiple doctors share one EMR?

Yes. A multi-doctor clinic can have any number of doctors and receptionists on the same account. Each user has their own login and role. Doctors see clinical data; receptionists handle queue and billing. All doctors share the same patient database, so any doctor can see a patient's full history.

Do I need to install anything?

No installation needed for the web dashboard — open medkyo.com in any modern browser and sign in. There is also a free mobile app for doctors and receptionists (iOS + Android) for use during consultations and at the front desk. Both stay in sync.
